Who We Are

Rwenzori Orphans and Rehabilitation Initiative (RORI) is a Ugandan-based non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of orphans, vulnerable children, and marginalized communities through targeted, sustainable interventions. Our work focuses on providing access to quality education and skills training for orphans and other vulnerable children, helping them build brighter, more self-reliant futures. We are deeply committed to child protection, ensuring that every child grows up in a safe, nurturing environment where their rights are upheld and their potential fully supported.

Beyond child-focused interventions, we empower vulnerable communities—especially women, youth, and persons with disabilities—through capacity-building programs, livelihood support, and access to vital resources. Our environmental conservation efforts promote sustainable practices that protect natural resources while supporting community resilience. We also advocate for sustainable tourism that celebrates local culture and drives inclusive economic growth. Through active lobbying and advocacy, we amplify the voices of the underserved, influence policy, and promote social justice to create lasting, systemic change.
